While I've read a lot about the Henry VIII and his children, I haven't read much about his ancestors. I look forward to reading the other books in the Cousin's War series to learn more about the Lancaster and York families. The Red Queen had the typical qualities of a Gregory book: great detail and storytelling with border-line obnoxious reoetitiveness. The redudancy in this particular novel: The main character is deeply religious and devout (first wanting to become a nun, next thinking her family's future success is determined by God).
